ART. There was a time, long ago, when every available space on walls and floors in our family home used to be covered with my sketches in coloured crayons and chalk. Discovering photography a few years later was a revelation. The instantaneous nature of the medium was godsend. However, the medium had its limitations. Unlike sketching and drawing, photography required all elements of the image to be present while shooting. Once photographed, very little could be changed, added, or removed. Years later, the advent of digital imaging technology , changed all that. Digital photography has made me an artist once again like I used to be as a kid. Most of the images here were shot as they were but, a few were later digitally manipulated.
